The installation process
Survey
After you have chosen your Elephant Windows products, one of our surveyors will carry out a survey of your home to ensure the installation will meet all current legislation and regulations.
We will then contact you by telephone to arrange a convenient date for the installation.
Installation
We pride ourselves on providing a stress-free experience and the best in customer care, and all our work will be carried out to the highest standards. Our technicians are happy to move and reposition any furniture in the working area, and will also protect your floor coverings. All installations are undertaken using the British Plastics Federation (BPF) Code of practice.
Clean-up
Your new installation will be cleaned both inside and out and all waste materials removed, leaving your home as we found it.
Guarantee
Once the installation is completed, you will receive a 10 year guarantee from Elephant Windows. The guarantee covers free of charge, labour and materials for all PVCu components within windows, doors and conservatories, in the event that any replacement is required. It also covers any hermetically sealed double glazed unit which develops a fault.* The guarantee is transferable on the sale of your property.

The details of the installation will also be sent to Network VEKA, who will provide you with an insurance backed guarantee and will register the installation with your local authority through the mandatory FENSA scheme.**
*The guarantee does not extend to damage or faults due to accident, misuse or neglect.
**Please note: the FENSA scheme currently only applies to the installation of replacement windows and doors to an existing dwelling. The installation of conservatories and porches are not currently part of this scheme.
